<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a rotatable connector capable of locking or lock releasing free rotation between both housings by a simple work. CONSTITUTION: A holding member 6 is integrally molded at a first housing via a thin wall part 1a, a pair of engaging protrusion parts 10a and 10b are integrally molded at a second housing 2, both the housings 1 and 2 are properly aligned in the manufacture step of a rotation connector, after which a tapping screw 7 is tapped in a support part 6b of said holding member 6. Thereby, said tapping screw 7 can collide with both engaging protrusion parts 10a and 10b, and free rotation between both housings 1 and 2 is made possible by cutting said holding member 6 by the thin wall part 1a when the rotation connector is incorporated into a steering device.</p> |
