<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a bottom heater and a tank, the bottom heater being simple in shape of the piping and occupying only a small space above the bottom plate of the tank and the tank having good efficiency in transfer of heat, by forming the bottom heater in a spiral structure with piping wound twofold or more and by forming a tank with this piping close to the side plate. CONSTITUTION: A bottom heater 4 for a tank 1 is formed of four pipes 51 -54 wound twofold in a spiral structure. A liquid for heating 6 is fed into the upper windings of the spiral pipes 51 -54 and discharged from the lower windings 51 -54 . The four pipes 51 -54 are placed above the bottom plate 2 of the tank and close to its side plate 3. Whereas use of four pipes 51 -54 wound twofold in a spiral structure is referred to herein, the pipes can be increased or decreased in number as suited in consideration of the size of the tank, the kind of the material 7 to be heated, and the temperature to which it is to be heated.</p> |
