<p>PURPOSE: To provide a display device which eliminates image sticking and after-images without generating side-effects, such as crosstalks and its driving method. CONSTITUTION: The scanning signalϕ(n) in this liquid crystal display device and its driving method has a first selection period Ts1(n) and second Ts2(n) and has a first reset period Tr1(n) and second reset period Tr2(n) prior to the selection periods and a first current impression period Ti1(n) and second current impression period Ti2 (n) prior to the reset periods. Then, the scanning signal having the selection periods, the reset periods prior to the selection periods and the current impression periods prior to the reset periods, by which the reduction of stickingss by the simple method without the side-effects, such as crosstalks, is made possible.</p> |
