PURPOSE: To obviate the occurrence of partial dissolving or peeling of colored layers from substrates in spite of execution of repetitive exposing and developing stages and to make it possible to form color filters having good heat resistance and light resistance by incorporating a resin mixture contg. a high-polymer resin having an ionic group and having water solubility or water dispersibility and a compd. having a hydroxyl group and siloxane skeleton in the molecule and coloring agents into the above compsn. CONSTITUTION: This electrodeposition coating material compsn. contains the resin mixture contg. the high-polymer resin having the ionic group and having the water solubility or water dispersibility and the compd. having the hydroxyl group and siloxane skeleton in the molecule at a ratio of 30:70 to 99:1 by solid content and the coloring agents. The compd. having the siloxane skeleton is expressed by the formula. In the formula, R<1> is methyl; 3-hydroxy propyl, etc.; R<2> and R<3> are independently methyl, phenyl, etc.; R<4> is methyl, phenyl, etc.; R<5> is methyl, phenyl, etc. One of R<1> , R3 is selected so as to be a terminal hydroxyl group; l is an integer from 2 to 4; (m) is an integer from 1 to 30; (n) is an integer from 0 to 2. |
