<p>PURPOSE: To secure a regenerating unit of a diesel particulate filter, capable of reducing the extent of a collected particulate unburnt residue, and of shortening a span of regenerating time as well as of reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A filter case 2 is provided with a multilayer structure consisting of an outer box 3 and a flow straightening cylinder 4. Plural pieces of air vents 5 are formed in this cylinder 4. In addition, A heater for heating a filter unit 1 is integrally formed in this unit 1 being set up in the filter case 2. In this constitution, air to be required for regenerating the filter unit 1 is fed out of the whole circumference of the filter unit 1 heated through these plural pieces of air vents 5.</p> |
