PURPOSE: To improve working precision of a plate by using wedge effect or toggle effect so as to precisely positioning a plate for plate working machine. CONSTITUTION: A clamp base 13 is supported to a fixed guide to be stabilized. By fastening a fixing lever 37 and moving a second wedge member 35 downward, a pair of left/right first members 33 are moved downward while bringing sliding contact with a first sliding face 33a and second sliding face 35, a pressing member 27 is moved downward to be brought into contact with the face to be pressed of fixed guide. By further fastening the fixing lever 37 and moving the second wedge member 35 in a minute quantity downward, the wedge effect of first.second members 33, 35 is produced, the face to be pressed of fixed guide is pressed by the pressing member 27 with strong force, the clamp base 13 is strongly fixed to the fixed guide. |
