<p>PURPOSE: To feed a sheet material of many kinds without changing and resetting the sheet material at each changing the sheet material of different quality, by providing a plurality of paper feed means relating to a device main unit. CONSTITUTION: Paper, mounted in a multipaper feeding multitray 21a (21b), is brought into contact with a paper feed roller 20a (20b), to convey upper several sheets, to be separated in a contact part between the paper feed roller 20a (20b) and separating pad 23a (23b). In the final end, only one sheet in the uppermost part passes through a sheet conveying part 26, to be fed to a side of a process cartridge 2. An existing multipaper feed means 52 mounted in a printer main unit 1 is of the same constitution to multipaper feed means 53a, 53b comprising the tray 21a (21b), paper feed roller 20a (20b), lifter 22a (22b), separating pad 23a (23b) and a sheet material conveying path 25 (24) included in an option multipaper feed unit 19. Accordingly, a kind of simultaneously settable paper is increased, to be convenient.</p> |
