PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform diversified menu selection by using one touch panel in a mode to provide plural touch areas coping with plural screens on software. SOLUTION: When a monitoring area (logic device 1) in accordance with a 'MENU' PR3 on a first screen shown in (a) is touched in a CRT 1 and the touch panel 2 provided in front of the CRT, touch coordinate information is notified to an application program 1 via a device. Simultaneously, the device driver superimposes a corresponding monitoring area (logic device 2) on a PR3 screen in accordance with the change of a screen shown in (b), and notifies the touch coordinate information of the area to application software 2.
