<p>A trim fixing for attaching a plastic trim panel (2, 4, 6) to the interior structure of a vehicle is disclosed. The trim fixing having one or more members (12, 14) which, in use, extend from the trim panel (2, 4, 6) to a mounting on the vehicle. The or each member (12, 14) having a discontinuity therein in which defines a frangible region (26, 34) adapted to distort and ultimately break under a predetermined impact force thereby to absorb energy from the applied impact force.</p> |
