<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long material supporting tool capable of easily and reliably performing the attachment to a bar-like body or changing the attaching position, and incapable of easily slipping off from the bar-like body even if external force acts in the attached state. SOLUTION: In a long material supporting tool, a locking part 5 to be locked on a bar-like body 2 from the side, vertically arranged in relation to a supporting tool main body 3 on which a supporting part 4 for receiving the long material into the lateral attitude is provided on one side is provided on the opposite side to the supporting part 4. A hook-like recessed part 7 opened to the supporting part 4 side and for receiving the bar-like body 2 is formed on the locking part 5, and a first regulating part 9 for regulating the separation of the supporting tool main body 3 from the bar-like body 2 is provided under the locking part 5 and on the supporting tool main body 3.
