<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of input operation and to attain space saving on a table by providing plural switching elements which are disposed in a matrix state in two-dimensional directions on the bottom side of a panel formed of flexible material so as to detect force transmitted through the panel to output it. SOLUTION: An input operation face consists of the switching elements 12a such as pressure sensor arranged in the matrix state at fine intervals in the longitudinal and horizontal two-dimensional directions, a panel 12b, click buttons 13a and 13b. Then at the time of stamping a foot b2 placed on the surface of the input operation face 12 to slide, a switching element 12a at the stamping position is pressurized to output a detection signal. Based on this detection signal, a cursor on a picture on a display is moved. When he cursor comes to on a desired icon on the picture, the click button 13a is depressed by the foot b2 to select and execute the program of the icon.</p> |
