INTAKE SYSTEM WITH TRANSLATIONAL THROTTLE SHUTTER FOR ROTARYENGINE, TWO-STROKE ENGINE AND OTHER INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH NO VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system increasing the value of the rated performance of a rotary engine. SOLUTION: A proper turbulence is generated on a sucked air current by an individual translational throttle shutter 11, and the variable area and suction timing of a suction port 16 are obtained. The area of the suction port 16 is increased over the engine speed and power range, and the intake efficiency is improved. This intake system is also suitable for the other internal combustion engine having no valve. The design of the trnaslational throttle shutter 11 is applicable to all intake systems of the internal combustion engine. This system is constituted of simple and lightweight module type components, no maintenance is required, and the initial cost is practically reduce.
