PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic golf club head improving in the functionality and a method for conveniently producing the same. SOLUTION: A golf club head comprising a face part and a main body part integrally combined wherein the face part and the main body part are integrally formed using different kinds of alloys. A method for producing the golf club head comprises arranging a dissimilar metallic member in a forming mold and compressing a supplying material therein to integrate the both materials and partly combining the dissimilar alloys by arranging a dissimilar alloy on a quenched aluminum alloy or arranging quenched aluminum alloy on a dissimilar alloy as the supplying material and it is pressed into a cavity of the mold.
