摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-density bulky woven fabric having unique appearance and feeling derived from spun yarn-like appearance and feeling of bulky yarns and homogeneity of combined filament yarns by respectively using a specific bulky yarn of a sheathcore structure having opened and closed loops mixed and protruding to the surface and specified combined filament yarn as either of warp and weft yarns. CONSTITUTION:At least two kinds of synthetic fiber multifilament yarns are passed through a turbulent fluid zone at different overfeeding ratios to form a bulky yarn of a sheath-core structure having opened and closed loops mixed and protruding to the surface of the yarn and the core part consisting of a highly shrinkable multifilament yarn. The resultant bulky yarn is then used as either of warp and weft yarns and a combined filament yarn consisting of synthetic fiber multifilament yarns having a different filament lengths is used as the other to provide a woven fabric. The afore-mentioned bulky yarn and combined filament yarn have respective >=7% shrinkage factor in boiling water with >=5% difference in shrinkage factor in boiling water of the synthetic fiber multifilament yarns constituting the above-mentioned yarns.
