PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of both a tire and a transponder by a method wherein the transponder is fixed at the rim flange of a wheel in a direction in which an axis thereof is extended along the peripheral direction of the tire. SOLUTION: A wheel is formed such that a tire 1 is assembled to the rim 3 of a wheel 2, and a transponder 5 is fixed in a direction in which an axis thereof is extended along the peripheral direction of the tire 1. A transponder device 10 is formed such that the transponder 5 is contained in a heat insulating container 11. The heat insulating container 11 has a hook 12 against a rim flange 4 and by elastically nipping the edge of the flange 4 between the hook 12 and a heat insulating container 11 body, the transponder device 10 is fixed to the vicinity of the peripheral end of the flange 4. This constitution ensures performance and durability of the transponder 5 without sacrificing performance of the tire. |
