FIELD: medicine, ophthalmosurgery. SUBSTANCE: surgical instrument to fasten tissues has mutually connected branches with a needle and needle groove at its end. At the same time a branch with needle groove contains fixators adjacent to its edge and oriented towards a needle the length of which depends upon groove's depth and fixators' height of A = 2(B+C) formula, where A - needle's length, B - height of working part of the second branch, C - height of fixators at needle's tip. Moreover, another variant of this instrument is possible, where fixators are designed as needles. EFFECT: improved interaction of instrument's working parts with tissues. 4 cl, 1 dwgs
