<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost, secure and effective protection between a radiation source and an object to be irradiated which is arranged in a storage part by arranging a protecting plate of borosilicate glass between the object and the radiation source. SOLUTION: A radiation source equipped with two UV luminescent lamps 2 is arranged above a pot-like storage part 1 for an object to be irradiated. In addition, these UV luminescent lamps 2 are encircled with an upper and a lateral reflector 3. This device is fixed to a retainer 4 which retains a protecting plate 5 of borosilicate glass. Further, the protecting plate 5 is arranged below the UV luminescent lamps 2 and above the storage part 1. The protecting plate 5 of borosilicate glass is stable in terms of quality and performance for a long time under a temperature generated during the curing of plastics and the borosilicate glass plate is mechanically stable even during operation, so that there is no fear that the borosilicate glass plate might be broken even when it comes into contact with the object to be irradiated.</p> |
