PURPOSE:To unify a temperature distribution in a refrigerating chamber by a method wherein a control box is provided with a plurality of air outlet ports in up-and-down direction so as to include the regulating range of up-and-down direction of racks while a frame is provided with cold air shielding plates for dispersing the cold air so as to be approximated to the air outlet ports. CONSTITUTION:Cold air, descended through a duct 4, descends while being branched into ducts 4a, 4b while the cold air, descended through the duct 4b, passes through a damper, whose opening and closing are controlled by a tempera ture regulator 9, and enters a duct 14 for the refrigerating chamber of a control box 7. The refrigerating chamber 5 of the box 7 is formed so as to have a height equal to the total height of the refrigerating chamber 5 while the cold air, entered the duct 14 of the box 7, is blown off into the refrigerating chamber 5 from outlet ports 8a, 8b. The air outlet ports 8a, 8b are opened so as to cover the regulating range of up-and-down direction of racks 15 and frames 16, retaining the racks 15, are provided with cold air shielding plates 17 whereby a space is provided between the air outlet ports and the racks at all times in the height of the cold air shielding plates 17 and, therefore, the air outlet ports will never be blockaded by the regulation of the positions of the racks. |
