PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which enables a pressure-sensitive adhesive left behind when the adhesive sheet is peeled off to be easily washed away with water by preparing the adhesive sheet by using a pressure-sensitive adhesive compsn. contg. a specific hydrophilic pressure- sensitive adhesive and an energy-ray-polymerizable compd. SOLUTION: A hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive is obtd. by mixing, under stirring, a carboxylated copolymer obtd. by the soln. polymn. of a carboxylated monomer and a monomer of the formula (X<1> to X<3> are each H or methyl; R<1> is a divalent 2-12C hydrocarbon group; R<2> is 1-10C hydrocarbon group; and n is 1-10) and having a wt. average mol.wt. of 50,000-1,500,000 with, based on 1 mol of the carboxyl group of the copolymer, 0.0001-1 mol of a neutralizing agent and 0.001-1.0 mol of a crosslinker at 5-40 deg.C for 25 min or longer. This pressure-sensitive adhesive in an amt. of 100 pts.wt. is compounded with 10-200 pts.wt. energy-ray-polymerizable compd. having a wt. average mol.wt. of 100-50,000 and having at least one energy-ray-polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond in the molecule and if necessary 0.05-15 pts.wt. photopolymn. initiator. |
