<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent a slide door from interfering with a fuel lid or an oil feeding gun with a simple and compact structure. SOLUTION: This slide door lock device is provided with a fuel lid opening condition detecting switch 8 for detecting the open/close condition of the fuel lid provided to the body side of an automobile, a door lock condition detecting switch 10 for detecting the lock condition of the slide door provided to the body side of the automobile, and a door lock actuator 9 for locking the slide door in the closed condition. If the lock of the slide door is released with the fuel lid opened, the fuel lid opening condition detecting switch 8 and the door lock condition detecting switch 10 are together turned ON for operating the door lock actuator 9, so that the slide door is forcibly retained in the locked condition so as not to be opened. Thus, the slide door is securely prevented from interfering with the opened fuel lid or the oil feeding gun inserted into the oil feeding port inside the fuel lid.</p> |
