PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module which is thinned, where backlash of a lens is eliminated and which achieves fine adjustment of an optical axis (inclination of the lens) that is a problem caused by thinning. SOLUTION: The optical module is equipped with a motor 13 rotating an output shaft 13b extending in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis of a lens group 21, and a transmission mechanism 53 converting the rotation of the output shaft 13b to translation to an optical axis direction and transmitting it to a lens holding body 22. The through-holes 22c1 and 22c2 of the bearing part of the lens holding body 22 form V-shape having a different angle direction to a guide shaft 51 respectively, and the lens holding body 22 is guided in the optical axis direction by sliding in contact with a valley part. One end of the guide shaft 51 is supported by a plurality of eccentric members in order to adjust the tilt of the optical axis. The plurality of eccentric members form ring shape whose inner periphery is eccentric to an outer periphery and are constituted so that the outer periphery of the other eccentric member may be aligned and held in the inner periphery, and can rotate in an inner periphery direction independently, and the guide shaft 51 is supported by agreeing the diameter of the guide shaft 51 with the innermost periphery.
