<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a binding device compact and lightweight and easily attachable to a body with the overall length and the overall height thereof reduced by a method wherein a tape reel holding a binding tape stretching between a drawing part and a cutting part of the binding tape is arranged in the horizontal position. SOLUTION: A table 3 for mounting a matter to be bound thereon is provided at a position between a tape drawing part 7 and a tape cutting part 4, and a tape reel 2 holding a wound-up tape 1 is arranged in the horizontal position at the side of the table 3. A binding tape 5 drawn out from the wound-up tape 1 is converted into vertical position by a direction-converting edge 10 in a tilt angle of 45 deg. after passing through the leg part of the table 3, a guide rod 12 and guide rollers 8 and 9 and furthermore converted into horizontal position by a tape drawing-out guide 11, and is drawn out to the cutting part 4. Thereby, resistance is given to a force for drawing out the binding tape 5, eliminating loosening and excessive drawing-out of the binding tape 5, and a simple binding device can be made up in a compact size.</p> |
