PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily concentrate matter in a liquid form in a short period of time and also to hold down equipment cost of an apparatus. SOLUTION: This concentrator is constituted of a compressor 22 for compressing a refrigerant, a blower 23 with an electric fan, a condenser 24 for cooling the refrigerant to condense it, a cooling pipe 25 into which the refrigerant is sent, a cooling plate 26 with the cooling pipe 25 arranged, in an inclined state on the rear side, an accumulator 27 installed on a line 20 between the cooling pipe 25 and the compressor 22, a bypass line 28 connected in parallel with the condenser 24 between the compressor 22 and the cooling pipe 25, solenoid valves 30, 31 installed on a line 29 from the compressor 22 to the condenser 24 and on the bypass line 28 respectively, an expansion valve 33 installed between the condenser 24 and the cooling pipe 25, and a pan 34 installed below the cooling plate 26. In this case, fruit juice is made flow from the upper part of the cooled cooling plate 26 to freeze the water content and collect the concentrated fruit juice in the pan 34. |
