PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain voice communication with operability and convenience in the same level as that of a normal PHS voice terminal by providing a repeater protocol part, and starting a repeater mode according to an input from a user, and using an already owned PHS voice terminal as a slave device at the time of voice communication. SOLUTION: When a user preliminarily inputs a signal for setting a repeater mode to a PDA part 109 by using a touch panel 110 or a keyboard 111, a UAP part 108 transfers data with a repeater protocol part 107, and starts a repeater mode. When voice communication is started in this state, a portable information terminal equipment operates a repeater operation for transferring voice data from a public base station to a PHS voice terminal equipment, and for transferring voice data from the PHS voice terminal equipment to the public base station by TDMA communication. Thus, at the time of voice communication, the PHS voice terminal can be used as the slave station of the portable information terminal equipment. |
