<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the productivity of work by discharging and feeding sheets onto and from an intermediate tray simultaneously. SOLUTION: An intermediate tray 120 is provided thereon with first side- regulation members 130-1 and 130-2 and with second side-regulation members 131-1 and 131-2. A pair of discharge rollers discharges sheets S onto the intermediate tray 120, while a feed roller delivers the sheets stacked on the intermediate tray 120 out one by one successively from the undermost one. While a sheet S is discharged onto the intermediate tray 120 as in (a), the first side-regulation members 130-1 and 130-2 are in their position to regulate respective sheet ends Sa and Sb, and the second side-regulation members 131-1 and 131-2 are off their position to regulate the respective sheet ends Sa and Sb. When the sheet S has just discharged as in (b), the second side-regulation members 131-1 and 131-2 revert to their sheet end regulation position.</p> |
