<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably cut a thin plate and a work having thermal strain as well as in the case of piercing of a work and a narrow bridge. SOLUTION: When thermally cutting a work W on a work table 3 by moving a torch head 23, which is provided with a plasma torch 25 freely ascendably and descendably in a left/right direction, and by moving a carrier 9 provided with the torch head 23 in a back/forth direction, between two connecting members 33, 35, which are arranged at both end sides in a left/right direction of the carrier 9, a plate holding roller 37 roughly over a whole width of the work W is arranged at both front/rear of the torch 25 or one side. The work W is pressed against a work table 3 by the plate holding roller 37, the deformation near a working point is suppressed low, a distance between the torch 25 and the work W is stabilized, thermal cutting is done. The work W is evenly pressed on the work table 3 roughly over a whole width by the plate holding roller 37.</p> |
