摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of achieving a bright and clear display while improving reflection efficiency in the reflective liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: In this reflective liquid crystal display device 12, a reflector 13 has a highly refractive scattering film 13c formed by dispersedly compounding fine power of a highly refractive metal such as titanium dioxide with a transparent resin constructed on an upper surface of a highly reflective mirror metallic plate (film) 13b whose surface is a mirror. The reflector 13 comprising a metallic plate (film) is a metallic plate (film) with at least a layer whose uppermost layer is formed with a silver metal layer. A compounding ratio of titanium dioxide fine powder is 5-50 wt.% in the liquid crystal display 12 having a backlight mechanism, many invisible micropores are formed at the reflector 13 and a convex spherical transparent resin layer is formed at a microporous part of a lower surface side. Very high reflection efficiency and a clear video is obtained. Scattering of light is remarkable and contours are clearly displayed. Uniform illumination is obtained by a lens effect.
