<p>A method for plasticating and conveying macromolecular materials based on elongational rheology and equipment thereof are disclosed. A set of spaces having specific shape is used, and the volume of the spaces increase and decrease periodically. Materials flow into the spaces when the volume is increasing, and are pressed, plasticated and discharged when the volume is decreasing. A vane-type unit comprises a cylindrical hollow stator and a columned rotor eccentrically installed in the inner cavity of the stator. Rectangular slots are formed in the rotor. Vanes are arranged in the slots and baffles are mounted on the two sides of the stator. The stator, the rotor, the vanes, and the baffles form the spaces having specific shapes. The vane-type unit can be combined with various screw-type extruding units or various plunger-injection units. The invention provides material with a short thermo-mechanical history, low energy consumption, wide adaptability, and small volume.</p> |
