PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rush current controller for preventing a system breakdown due to a load current and a rush current in the case of turning a driving power source on/off. SOLUTION: When a load is connected to the driving power source 4, an emitter and a collector are opened in the order of the changeover transistor and control transistor 8 of a control circuit 5 by inputted signals POWER-ON 12. When the rush current of the driving power source 4 increases a voltage at both ends of a resistor 15 rises and becomes larger than a prescribed voltage value, the base current of the control transistor 8 is controlled through a shift register 9 and a multiplexer 10 and the current of the driving power source 4 is limited. Also, even when the rush current of the driving power source 4 is within a stipulated value, when a device power source 3 becomes lower than the prescribed voltage value in a voltage detector 13, the emitter and collector of the changeover transistor 11 and the control transistor 8 are opened and the driving power source 4 is cut. |
