DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ELECTRIC ARC PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which does not necessitate an operator to move to a current generator in order to avoid his moving where he is forced to remove his safety mask, by changing parameters with which arc processing cycle can be changed by a simple, prompt and effective method. SOLUTION: This is a device which can be used by an operator in electric arc processing working and which consists of a current generator 10 and a safety mask 1. This safety mask has a face protective means equipped with a face screen 5, a supporting means 6 by which the mask is supported on the operator's head, a voice pickup means 2 by which a voice command issued by the operator is received and a command signal transmission means 3 transmitting a command signal to a command signal receiving means connected electrically to a voice recognition means provided on the generator. The current generator has the voice recognition means commanding a generator control means acting on the generator in response to a command signal.
