PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize common use of built-in type air conditioners of panel specification and duct specification by sharing an electric component box between them. SOLUTION: In built-in type air conditioners of panel specification and duct specification installed in the ceiling space 34 of a building 31 where a supply duct 36 extends from a unit body 35 containing a heat exchanger and a fan and provided with an electric component box 37, the electric component box 37 is provided with an opening 58 closable with an electric component box cover 65 and it can be fixed to the unit body reversibly at such a position as the opening faces the inside or outside of the unit body.
