PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clean polished surface without puff scale on a surface processed metal plate by adhering a felt plate with outer diameter less than a specific mm and thickness less than a specific mm to a pressing slide plate via an elastic engaging sheet. SOLUTION: A felt plate 8 having a dust-storing cavity 7 in its central part is adhered to a pressing slide machine via an elastic engaging sheet 6. The felt plate 8 is formed by cutting, powdering, and removing generated oxide films and adhered foreign matters on the surface of a metal plate or a surface processed metal plate, and is formed by compressing wool, cotton, polyester, and high technology fiber as raw material. Outer diameter of the felt plate 8 is shorter than 170 mm and preferably longer than 125 mm. Thickness of it is less than 30 mm not to reduce polishing force. The elastic engaging sheet 6 is used for removably adhering the felt plate 8, and an elastic sheet called a Velcro(R) tape is usually employed. Using this, smooth metal plate can be provided. |
