SUBSTANCE: method intended to determine transient stability of power system operating in parallel with equivalent generator and to prevent asynchronous operation involves additional measurement of current value of power under emergency conditions, determination of integral power, measurement of electrical-transmission acceleration angle delta, and check-up of stability conditions at the moment when acceleration equals zero using specified expression; if condition is not satisfied, line disconnection signal is applied.
