<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit easy formation of mold block for forming a complicated shape having non-flat faces including stepped parts by providing a drum mold having a through-hole, a stationary mold that is arranged on one side of the through-hole and a sliding mold that is slidably arranged on the other side of the through-hole and constituting the stationary mold with at least two stationary mold pieces. SOLUTION: For example, the mold block 6 for molding the array for arraying optical fibers comprises the polygonal drum mold 7 having a through- hole 7c, the stationary mold 8 that is arranged on the lowermost side of the drum and the sliding mold 9 that is inserted from the top edge side of the drum mold 7 and is made slidable to the drum mold 7 4n which the stationary mold 8 is constituted of the separately prepared members, namely the first stationary mold 8e for forming the lower stepped face side and the second stationary mold 8f for forming the upper stepped face side. Thus, the formation of the first and second stationary molds 8e, 8f is facilitated and can simply form the stationary mold 8 of a complicated shape including stepped parts.</p> |
