In this novel method, metal- (1) and plastic- (13) sheets are bonded. Both are drawn off a supply reel (1, 14), and before application of adhesive to a narrow edge region, the plastic is subjected to a corona discharge. The sheets are pressed together, and irradiated with light-, especially ultraviolet radiation. This polymerises the plastic. Also claimed is a matrix for dental treatment, made as described. Preferably both ends of the matrix are narrower than the middle section. |
