PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating material used in the case a metallic mesh is secondarily sintered into a metallic fiber sintered body as for the production of a metallic fiber sintered body reinforced by a metallic mesh. SOLUTION: As for this separating material for a metallic fiber secondarily sintered body, in a separating material for a secondarily sintered body of a stainless fiber sintering material reinforced by a metallic mesh, alumina paper as a separating material is mixed with TiO2 and/or NbO2.
