<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the rotating position of a rotor by a rotary switching means attachable to the side surface of a housing, with a simple structure easy for an assembling work, in a steering locking device equipped with a housing fixed to a steering column, a cylinder body inserted in and fixed to the housing, a rotor to be inserted in the cylinder body, and a switching means to be attached to the side surface of the housing so as to detect the rotating position of the rotor. SOLUTION: A cylinder body 13, a rotor 15, a first bevel gear 36 coaxially linked to the rotor 15, a second bevel gear 37 meshed with the first bevel gear 36, and a detecting shaft 38 coaxially fixed to the second bevel gear 37 and rotatably supported by the cylinder body 13 are formed into a unit as a cylinder lock unit 39 which can be inserted in and removed from a housing 12, and a rotary switching means 19 is linked to the detecting shaft 38 of the cylinder lock unit 39 to be inserted in the housing 12.</p> |
