<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic waste fermenter by which the dew-condensation of steam generated in the process of fermenting the organic waste is prevented, the fermentation of the waste is promoted, and the running cost of the fermenter itself is reduced. SOLUTION: The organic waste S introduced into a fermentation space 6 is surrounded by a plurality of lining members 7 arranged almost over the whole region of the inner side face of the space 6, fermented and decomposed by microorganisms in the space. The lining members 7 are the members to surround the waste S introduced into the space 6 and formed by a carbonized material such as carbonized wood. The carbonized material of the lining members S is a porous material having many micropores, and its thermal conductivity is kept low as compared with a metallic material such as a stainless steel material. Since such the plurality of lining members 7 are arranged almost over the whole region of the inner side face of the fermentation space, the space 6 is provided with a heat insulating property, a heat retaining property, water absorbency, air permeability, a deodorizing property, resistance to the corrosion by microorganisms and microorganisms in habitability.</p> |
