<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed polystyrene-melting apparatus capable of reducing volume by efficiently melting foamed styrene regardless of season. SOLUTION: This foamed polystyrene-melting apparatus is equipped with a melting tank 5 for housing a solvent S for dissolving foamed polystyrene F, a filter 14 installed in the melting tank 5 and passing the solvent and an intermediate product melted in the solvent S through, a circulating mechanism (a pump 21, a three-way valve 22 and piping 31) for circulating the solvent S and the intermediate product which passed through the filter 14, a heater 23 installed in the circulating mechanism and heating the solvent S and the intermediate solvent which passes through the circulating mechanism a temperature sensor 41 for detecting the temperature of the solvent S in the melting tank 5 and an operation control part 43 for operating the circulating mechanism and stopping supply of electricity to the heater 23 when a detection temperature of a temperature sensor exceeds 25 deg.C in a state in which electricity is supplied to the heater 23.</p> |
