USE OF CUBIC GEL PARTICLE AS ANTI-POLLUTION AGENT, ESPECIALLY IN COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition capable of preventing noxious effects of pollutants such as a gas or a heavy metal and protecting keratinous materials from the external pollutants. SOLUTION: Cubic gel particles are cosmetically used as an anti-pollution agent in the composition for topical application to the keratinous materials. In order to protect the keratinous materials from noxious effects of pollution, the cubic gel particles are used when preparing a composition for topical application. Furthermore, the cubic gel particles formed of a mixture of at least two amphiphilic compounds in which either one of the amphiphilic compounds is capable of forming a lamellar phase in the presence of water and the other is capable of forming an inverted hexagonal phase in the presence of water are used.
