<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the follow-up of a cargo by grasping physical distribution information in real time in all the stages of physical distribution from the ordering of a commodity to the forwarding thereof, to follow a change made in the amount of cargo, in its destination, or in its delivery date, and resultantly to reduce physical distribution amounts and labor costs. SOLUTION: This physical distribution information providing method is used in this physical distribution system wherein cargo is loaded on one or more vehicles each mounted with a GPS to deliver the cargo to orderers according to a delivery schedule. Routes to the orderers are determined for the respective loaded vehicles (route determining part 41). When a change is made, after departure, in physical distribution amounts, destinations, delivery dates, or the like, physical distribution information including positional information on the respective loaded vehicles is collected, a loaded vehicle capable of coping with the change is searched for (vehicle searching part 42), and the route for the loaded vehicle capable of coping with the change is redetermined.</p> |
