MAGNETIC HEAD

摘要

PURPOSE: A magnetic head is provided to disperse and shield an external magnetic field, to attenuate an antenna effect, thereby efficiently suppressing magnetic concentration caused by the external magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A top pole(110) is separately located from a bottom pole(120). An inductive recording coil forms magnetic fields on the bottom pole and the top pole. A magnetic shield layer(150) is located on top of the top pole. The magnetic shield layer has a wider width than the top pole. A front end of the magnetic shield layer is arranged on a front part of the top pole. An intermediate layer is interposed between a back end of the magnetic shield layer and a back end of the bottom pole. The intermediate layer is a magnetic substance.
