<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a one-motion opening and closing mechanism by engaging the top end of an inside handle lever connected to an inside handle of a vehicle directly to a ratchet lever interlocked with a ratchet pole. CONSTITUTION:An inside door handle is pulled out from a lock state, an inside door handle lever 16 connected to it is rotated, and the knob lever 18 is pushed down by the lower end of an oscillating lever 22 connected pivotally to one arm end 16a. Next a locking lever 13 interlocked with it starts to rotate to an unlock position, and simultaneously the other arm end 16b rotates an open lever 12. Therefore an engaged projection is lowered to release the engagement with a connecting rod 20, and the connecting rod 20 displaces to unlock position. Then the top end of the other arm end 16b pushes up a projection 11a of a ratchet lever 11, and a ratchet pole 7 departs from a latch member 5. Thus, because the ratchet member 5 opens the striker 2, a door opens.</p> |
