SOLUTION: The electronic device is provided with the generator 20, which is driven by a mechanical energy source and a rotation controller 50, which controls the rotation cycle of the generator 20. The rotation controller 50 is provided with switches 21, 22, which can connect both ends of the generator 20 to be in a closed-loop state, a chopping-signal generating part 150 which generates a chopped signal applied to the switches and a braking control part 55, which chopping-controls the generator in such a way that three kinds of control operations, i.e., a strong braking control operation, whose braking effective value by the application of the chopping signal is large, an intermediate braking control operation, whose braking effective value is intermediate and a weak braking control operation, whose braking effective value is small, are switched and carried out.</p>
