<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonsolvent foamable polypropylene adhesive which exhibits sufficient foaming properties, adhesive strength, and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic adhesive contains 20-70 mass% crystalline polyolefin, 20-70 mass% amorphous polyolefin containing a styrene polymer, and 5-45 mass% rosin-based resin as a tackifier. When used for bonding, the adhesive is thermally melted and foamed by mechanically mixing a gas into the melt.</p> |
