PLATE TYPE HEAT PIPE AND ITS MOUNTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe having a container having long period reliability and high in airtightness without lowering the strength of a plate material of the heat pipe, and to provide its mounting method. SOLUTION: A plate type heat pipe consists of a plate material to the surface of which at least one element to be cooled is thermally connected and a different plate in the internal part of which a cavity is formed through combination with the plate material. By making pressure contact of the outer peripheral part where the plate material and the different plate material are combined together, formation thereof is effected. The plate type heat pipe is provided with a container the internal part of which enclosed working fluid and which is excellent in airtightness.
