PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device capable of preventing external light reflection by an antidazzle layer and restraining the white spread of a picture at the same time, provided with glass piece scatter preventing capability, and capable of restraining temperature rise without impairing sticking workability. SOLUTION: This plasma display device 1 comprises a plasma display panel (hereafter abbreviated to PDP) 2, and a front film-like filter 3. The antidazzle layer having 9 to 20% haze value is formed on the foremost (the observer side) surface of the film-like filter 3, and a material having a tensile elastic modulus of around 2.4×10<4> kgf/cm<2> or more and bending strength of around 1,400 kgf/cm<2> or less is used for transparent film substrates 3b and 3e, so that the total thickness of the film-like filter 3 is set to 0.2-0.4 mm. The device is so structured as to air-cool the back side of the PDP 2. |
