PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated metal material which is easy to be connected with a metal or to be treated to be decorated without generating a chlorine gas, a hydrogen chloride gas or dioxins harmful even by incinerating in the case of its disposal. SOLUTION: The resin-coated metal material comprises a polyester resin 2 containing no halogen element and coating on a surface of a metal thin plate 1 or a metal foil 1 made of iron, aluminum or aluminum alloy.
