PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and economically realize improvement of power factor. SOLUTION: The capacitance of a high voltage capacitor 7 connected to the primary side of a high voltage transformer 4 is set to a value higher than the sum of reactive powers of high voltage transformer, and the power factor of the primary side is set to a leading power factor close to 1. Moreover, a capacitance of a low voltage capacitor mounted to an individual device 12 on the secondary side of the high voltage transformer 4 is set to a value not exceeding a reactive current. The low voltage capacitor is mounted in parallel to the device by utilizing an electromagnetic switch 11 for device to set the power factor on the secondary side to the delay power factor close to 1. |
