PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an online sales method and a system capable of preventing a user from purchasing the unnecessary quantity of a commodity or a service. SOLUTION: In this online sales method, the commodity or the service is sold corresponding to an order received from a user terminal device held by the user through a network. In the method, a conversion coefficient for converting a purchase unit of the commodity or the service registered beforehand by the user into a sales unit handled by a seller selling the commodity or the service is prepared, and the purchase unit of the ordered commodity or service is converted into the corresponding sales unit by using the conversion coefficient, and an order for the purchase quantity of the commodity or the service to be purchased by the user is placed with the seller by using the sales unit. |
